The title Nolla is given to new LTH students and refers to the lack of knowledge and experience in the engineering world that they possess. But don't worry, as a Nolla you will receive plenty of support and guidance from helpful guild members on your journey to becoming an Etta.

Join StudentLund
To attend student events outside LTH and to live in AF's housing, Nollan needs to join Studentlund.
Join Teknologkåren Before Nollan can take part in events during the nollning and throughout the rest of the year, Nollan needs to join Teknlogkåren.
CSN The application for student funding is made via csn.se. Apply for a whole year at a time and don't forget to submit your declaration of intent to study at the start of the semester.

Packing list
Bicycle
Lund is a city with many bicycle paths and as a student, the bicycle is Nollan's best friend. Don't forget bicycle lights in the dark hours of the day, otherwise it can be expensive for Nollan. It can also be a good idea to get a bicycle early (along with a solid bicycle lock). The closer to the semester start, the more difficult it can be for Nollan to get a bicycle if they wants to buy a used one.
Clothing tips
During the nollning, there will be fancy sittings and parties. It may therefore be a good idea for the Nolla to pack a jacket, tailcoat, cocktail dress, ball gown or similar. When practicing fancy sittings, some sittings will have a dress code according to the theme. If the Nollan has some fun costume items at home, it may be a good idea to pack them too.
The weather in Lund, like the Nollning, is unpredictable and can change quickly. Several nollning events will be outdoors, so pack a pair of shoes that you can get dirty and clothes for all weathers.
Sewing kit
The turquoise ouwe is every W:ers obvious outfit choice during nollningen. It will be the garment that Nollan wears the most. During Nollan's time at LTH, the ouwerall will be adorned with patches that represent all of Nollan's memories as a LTH student. These patches can be glued on with textile glue, but they fit extra well if they are sewn on with thread and needle.
Money
You may spend a lot of money in the first few weeks of school, including on textbooks, school supplies, events, ouwe and/or home furnishings. Sometimes it takes a while before the first student loan is paid out, which is good to be aware of in advance.
Sleping bag and sleeping mat
During the nollning there will be a super fun event with an overnight stay. The Nolla does not want to miss this. The Nolla should therefore bring a sleeping bag and sleeping mat if possible.
Mentor groups
During the nollning, you will be assigned to a mentor group with other menties from the section as well as mentors who are students from upper grades. In this mentor group, you will spend your first fast-paced weeks as a LTH student, and will be offered a wide range of events such as sittnings, games, competitions, parties and study evenings!
Fizzy Popz
Long ago, before lectures, exams and coffee, there existed a kingdom known as Candyland. It was a land where the rivers flowed with sugary drinks, the trees were laden with fruit candy and time itself was driven by the bubbles from the timeless spring Fons Fizzica.
In Candyland lived the legendary candy people. On the striped plains the heaths wandered with their Polka Pigs, the Raspberry Boat sailors crossed the salty licorice seas and the Ahlgrenska car drivers swept across sugar-white landscapes. But highest of all, on the Sugar Peak itself, stood the guardians of the Time-less Candy: Fizzy Popz.

Long, long ago, deep, deep into the forest you can hear them if you are good. No one knows when or how they came into being, but that they are part of the universe is a fact. Three apples tall, blue white hats and always with a good mood. Together they live in harmony, each with their own role and place. When the evil wizard Gargamel knocks on the gate they always stop him, because united nothing can stop them.
When the Nolla comes they get out of their mushroom houses, jump over streams and trees all the way from Belgium to be there. Don't be fooled by their size. A small body only feels its feelings stronger. With pep and community they are now here; the sWurfs, always ready.
Guzztav Wasa

Skalmaniacs
Skalman observes as the world collapses and time falls out of balance. The once wise inventor has become obsessed with the mysteries of time, driven to a mania of genius. The only thing left to keep him grounded: the food and sleep clock! When chaos hisses the ugliest words

With obsessed brilliance and ancient wisdom (at just the right pace), he saves his friends with inventions no one can understand. Some call him crazy for trying to stop the collapse of time while others call him a hero.

The Wepp are the nollning's most active gang and act as cheerleaders at various events! The Nolla will encounter the Weppers many times during the nollning so it might be a good idea to keep an eye on them!

Hello Nolla, and a warm welcome to The Nollning 2026.
My name is Norea Sjöberg and I have the honorable mission of being this year's Nollning general. This means that during the spring, together with the Nolle amiral, the Øverstar and all other responsible people in the Teknologkår, I have worked to make your first time here at LTH as fantastic as possible.
The Nollning offers a wide range of activities and for us who organize it, it is extra important that you as a Nolla know that the idea is not that you should be involved in everything, the idea is rather that there should be something for everyone. You should also have time for your studies!
We here at the Teknologkår are incredibly proud that union is a place where you can feel safe, develop and have a good time studying regardless of who you are. This means that you, as a new member, have a responsibility to ensure that this good atmosphere is maintained. Show respect and consideration for your fellow students and you will get it back a thousandfold.

Hello Nollan!
We are the nollning committee (NollU) at the Teknologkåren, the Noll Admiral, the Noll General, four Colonels and a lot of officials. Our goal over the past year has been to plan as fun and safe a reception as possible. We hold events where you get to experience and compete in everything from a naval battle during the Regatta to a box truck race on Noll Saturday – and all this while you meet a lot of students from all sections of TLTH! On Facebook, the W-section has a page called “W-sektionen inom TLTH” where events and information are published. The student priests
The student priests is available to students and employees at Lund University, and is available for private conversations, activities, church services, etc. They are strictly confidential and welcome everyone regardless of faith or outlook on life. Click on this linkto read more.
Counselors
LTH has 3 counselors, all of whom are trained social scientists, and are available to students at LTH. They are bound by confidentiality and a certain obligation to notify. The visits are free of charge and the situation in question does not have to be study-related. Sara Enetoft is the responsible counselor for the Ecosystem Technology and Risk Management program and can be reached by phone or email.

Studenthealth
Studenthälsan (Student Health) can be contacted for problems related to stress, depression and alcohol habits. Staff with different types of education work there, such as psychologists or nurses.
